Being Pro-Life in Post Roe America

Last week, like many of you, I listened to the oral arguments before the Supreme Court in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. If the Court rules to let Mississippi’s 15-week ban on abortion stand, it will essentially overturn Roe v. Wade and send the abortion issue back to the states. While some states will likely have no restrictions on abortion, others will either ban or severely limit access to abortion. After nearly fifty years and countless prayers, we may finally have a post-Roe America.

This weekend I spent some time praying and thinking about what a post-Roe America would mean for this ministry. We’ve often said we would like to work ourselves out of a job. The truth is, there will always be a need for life-affirming ministries like PSC. Our goal is not just for abortion to be illegal but for it to be unimaginable. Our mission will continue to be to help men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy to not only choose life but also embrace life.

Will you join me in praying that a post-Roe America will not merely be one absent of abortion but rather one that is filled with LIFE…the abundant LIFE that is found in Christ.
