LIFE CHOICES ROWAN can successfully carry out its mission because of the support received by volunteers daily. The organization provides opportunities for involvement through different areas of service.  Our
volunteers are amazing people who invest in the future of LIFE CHOICES
ROWAN and the families we serve each day. Your Time invested has returns that are priceless.

If you can commit and are interested in training to fulfill a position as a LIFE CHOICES ROWAN, we are always welcoming new volunteers.

HOW CAN YOU HELP? SO GLAD YOU ASKED

Prayer – Pray for moms, dads and families who are experiencing a
pregnancy, planned or unplanned. Pray for ministry leadership, staff and
organizational needs.

Liaison – Serve as a Liaison for your church to keep the church informed about LIFE CHOICES ROWAN events and needs.

Projects – Help with special projects, mailings, and events as needed.
Maintenance- Inside and outside maintenance is essential to providing a
warm and inviting atmosphere for our clients.

Special Skills – Offer your talents (such as medical, advertising,
fundraising, graphics, etc.) to help with organizational tasks or to provide
learning opportunities for clients.

Client Liaisons- Client liaisons work with clients one-on-one through their
pregnancy and parenting situation. They provide a listening ear and a
supportive shoulder to encourage moms and dads as they navigate thecomplicated world of parenting. They also provide educational opportunities through the wealth of learning materials available through LIFE CHOICES.

Class Facilitators- Share Bright Course educational curriculum in a group or individual setting, proving parenting education, Bible studies and other educational learning opportunities.

Volunteer Nurse/Sonographers- Assist with pregnancy testing and coach clients on life decisions, providing support materials and educational resources. Serve as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer to conduct limited ultrasounds and guide client decisions in obtaining medical care. If you are a nurse and would like to trained to be a sonographer, please reach out to us.

Resource volunteer- Organize material goods donations to be distributed to clients.

WORKING WITH FAMILIES

You may never encounter the challenges faced by clients at LIFE CHOICES
ROWAN Ministries although most of us have more in common than we ever
imagined, however because of your help, a woman or man – or women &
men– will emerge from their situation, equipped with tools to move
forward in a positive productive manner.
Consider spending an afternoon, a weekend or a couple of hours a week
to help LIFE CHOICES continue its mission of helping to transform the
lives of expecting moms and families for a better and brighter future.

**Please note that individuals having direct client contact are required to
complete our volunteer training course as well as one-on-one in-house
training. Completion of the training does not necessarily guarantee
placement as an advocate. An application, interview, and Criminal
Background checks are required. Volunteer training sessions are available
throughout the year, contact us today to set up training.) Background
checks are required of all volunteers. References are required for all
volunteers as well. Church attendance is a must and a letter of
recommendation from Pastor is required.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHURCHES AND GROUPS

Host the baby bottle campaign – members collect change in bottles provided by LIFE CHOICES ROWAN. It is a fun, easy way for members of all ages to get involved.

​WALK FOR LIFE – Be a Team Leader. Inspire, motivate, and take home the First Place Trophy. All Proceeds go to covers all services to our clients.

Fall Celebration – Become a Table Host recruiting friends, family and those that want to partner with LCR. The possibilities are endless and result will continue in allowing us to serve our clients in excellence.

Volunteer for a group project – Painting, making baby quilts, cleaning, helping at the Fall Celebration.

Host a baby shower – Fill a crib with baby items to be distributed to moms in need.

Home Mission – Include LIFE CHOICES ROWAN Center in your home mission budget.
