LIFE CHOICES Rowan successfully carries out its mission because of the support received by volunteers every day. Our volunteers are amazing people who invest in the future of this ministry and the families we serve each day. We have a variety of opportunities for involvement.

PRAY
Such a simple act and yet, so powerful. Pray for moms, dads and families who are experiencing a pregnancy, planned or unplanned. Pray for our ministry leadership, staff and organizational needs. Pray for our supporters, partners, and community.
RESOURCE VOLUNTEER
Organize material goods and donations to be distributed to clients.
CHURCH LIAISON
Serve as a liaison for your church to keep your leadership and the congregation informed about our events and needs
PROJECTS
Help with special projects, mailings, and events as needed.
MAINTENANCE
Inside and outside maintenance are essential to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our clients.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Offer your talents (i.e., medical, advertising, fundraising, event planning, graphics, safety, etc.) to help with organizational tasks or to provide learning opportunities for our clients.
CLIENT LIAISON
Client liaisons work with clients one-on-one through their pregnancy and parenting situation. With a listening ear and a supportive shoulder, they encourage moms and dads as they navigate the complicated world of parenting. They also provide educational opportunities through the wealth of learning materials available at LCR.
CLASS FACILITATORS
Facilitators share the Bright Course educational curriculum in a group or, individual setting. They provide parenting education, bible studies and other educational learning opportunities.
VOLUNTEER NURSE
Assist with pregnancy testing and coach clients on life decisions, providing support materials and educational resources.
VOLUNTEER SONOGRAPHER
Serve as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer to conduct limited ultrasounds and guide client decisions in obtaining medical care. If you are a nurse and would like to trained to be a sonographer, please reach out to us.
WORKING WITH FAMILIES
You may never encounter the challenges faced by our clients although most of us have more in common than we ever imagined. With your help, a woman or man – or women & men– will emerge from their situation, equipped with the tools to move forward in a positive productive manner. Consider spending an afternoon, a weekend or a couple of hours a week to help us continue in our mission of helping to transform the lives of expecting moms and families for a better and brighter future.
**Please note: Individuals having direct client contact are required to complete our volunteer training course as well as one-on-one in-house training. Completion of the training does not guarantee placement as an advocate. An application, interview, and criminal background checks are required.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHURCHES AND GROUPS
Host the baby bottle campaign!
Members collect change in bottles provided by LIFE CHOICES Rowan. It is a fun, easy way for members of all ages to get involved.
Walk For Life
Be a Team Leader. Inspire, motivate, and perhaps take home the First Place Trophy. All Proceeds go to cover services for our clients.
Fall Celebration
Become a Table Host. Recruit friends, family and those that want to partner with LCR. The possibilities are endless and the result will allow us to continue serving our clients with excellence.
Volunteer for a Group Project
Painting, making baby quilts, cleaning, helping at the Fall Celebration or Walk for Life.
Host a Baby Shower
Fill a crib with baby items for distribution to moms in need.
