Debbie
Executive Director
Debbie is the Executive Director of LIFE CHOICES Rowan. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Work and a Masters degree in Counseling. Debbie has worked with families in crisis throughout her career. Her past experience includes working on a Prevention Initiative for a Crisis Pregnancy Center, working for and serving on the board of the Child Welfare system, working for an adoption agency and serving as the Executive Director of a Maternity Home in Charlotte. She believes that all of these experiences have led her to this ministry. Debbie enjoys traveling, working in the yard, and photography. She is knowledgeable, and passionate about supporting the unborn and their families.
SARA
Executive Assistant
Sara joined the LCR team in July 2023 as the Executive Assistant. She is a Catawba College graduate with a Bachelors degree in Sociology. In her previous role at Social Services, Sara worked directly with clients facing socioeconomic challenges. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has three precious children. She believes God has immensely blessed her, so much so, that He has led her to this ministry where she may share His everlasting love and grace.
LIZ
Client Services Director
Liz has served in different roles with LIFE CHOICES Rowan since 2005: board member, volunteer, client, and currently as the Client Services Director. Liz became a certified Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist and Relationship Educator in 2021 and is passionate about teaching and assisting new moms as they navigate parenthood. Liz became a first-time author in 2022. You may find Liz sharing her book and her testimony of grace and redemption around town and abroad!
CRYSTAL
Nurse Manager, Sonographer
Crystal has been a Registered Nurse for 22 years and has served as a Nurse Sonographer in pregnancy centers for 7 of those years. She joined the LIFE CHOICES Rowan team in 2020 and loves connecting expectant parents to their babies through ultrasound. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Marie
Client Services Assistant
Marie began as a volunteer with LIFE CHOICES where we observed her passion for learning and the ministry. We decided to call her out of retirement as our Client Services Assistant. Her husband, Alan, has also served LCR as a volunteer in various roles ranging from furniture assembling to directing traffic for our monthly diaper drive-thrus. The couple has been married for 41 years. Their granddaughter, Brooklyn, has also served as a LCR volunteer and organized her own diaper drive-thru at her church. Marie enjoys singing at church, home-schooling her granddaughter, photography, and riding on the back of her husband’s Harley. Marie and Alan are members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association.
MARISOL
Receptionist/Spanish Advocate
Marisol is bilingual from Puerto Rico and lived in Florida for over 50 years before moving to NC in 2020 (love the seasons, spring and fall are the best here!) She has been married for over 33 years with 4 kids/ 6 grandkids. Marisol loves to cook/ bake, family time, organize and help. She serves as Secretary to The Women’s Republican Party and as the Receptionist here at Life Choices Rowan. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control..
